Thursday, September 3 - The Balance Sheet Examine asset, liability and equity accounts, how they work together, and how to assess financial health through them. Develop strategies to make the balance sheet healthier.
Thursday, September 10 - The Income Statement, Cash Flows and Statement of Shareholders' Equity Acquire tools to understand an organization's performance, and study how you can impact that performance.
Thursday, September 17 - Business Planning and Budgets Discover how a company obtains capital for expansion, the various types of budgets and some best-practices in developing a budget.
Thursday, September 24 - Financial Analysis and the Psychology of Finance Learn how to perform analysis used by management and investors to determine the financial health and risk factors of an organization. Plus, examine how financial people think and learn some tricks and tips on how to present a business idea to them.
About the Presenter
Rebecca Johnson of Consult RJ has the unique skills and experience to translate complex financial concepts into everyday language.Trained as a CPA, RJ has held corporate positions in international finance, communications, human resources management, and M&A project management. She works with businesses as an expert in aligning compensation strategy with business objectives. Rebecca has served on the NCHRA board, and is a frequent industry conference speaker.
