The Yerba Buena Alliance celebrates its 24th anniversary Gala. Thursday, October 15th, the Alliance gala awards an exemplary organization and individual as a way to recognize the great work being done in the Yerba Buena neighborhood.
The Yerba Buena is the art heart of downtown with many museums and galleries. This year we recognize our cultural partners by bringing light and attention to the work they are doing and how they add to the vibrancy and richness of Yerba Buena. Sponsored by Salesforce, Webcor, Millennium Partners, Target, MJM Management and counting, the Alliance is a community celebration acknowledging the vibrant neighborhood.
For the 2015 celebration, the Yerba Buena Alliance is proud to present the The Mexican Museum of San Francisco with the Organizational Champion Award to acknowledge their extraordinary achievements to relocate the museum to Yerba Buena making its permanent home at the 706 Mission project.
The 2015 winner of the Unsung Hero Award is Linda Harrison, CEO of the Museum of the African Diaspora, acknowledged for her skillful leadership of the museum, an important cultural institution in Yerba Buena that strengthens the neighborhood.
Experience a "Taste of Yerba Buena" as we are joined by the area's best restaurants including: MaSo, Super Duper, Tropisueno, Tap 415, Zesty and the culinary program of SF City College. This will include signature cocktails served by Novela.
The Yerba Buena Alliance supports the Yerba Buena Neighborhood by strengthening partnerships, providing critical neighborhood-wide leadership and infrastructure, serving as an information source and forum for the area's diverse interests, and promoting the area as a destination. The gala provides the Alliance support to operate programs year round.
Sponsorship tickets are available at $150 for an exclusive pre event champagne reception before the event. General tickets are $50. Information and tickets can be found at yerbabuena.org/gala
