Speed reading provides a consistent efficiency and focusing tool to read better more quickly.
Adults: 9/27 While many adults are past their need to take high-stakes test, improving ones reading speed is a game changer for productivity, improved mental health and the more time to do other things. In the Adult workshop, participants will focus on what they need to move through the most: emails, newspaper/articles, books, websites and trade journals. With speed reading techniques, participants increase speed up to 4x, hone focus, improve comprehension, and retain more of what was read. In addition, stress management and mindful techniques offer opportunities to be more present.
Students: 9/20 Tests are not only about what a student knows, tests are about how well a student takes tests. Our one-day Mindful SpeedReading workshop, MindFlow, helps to increase each participants' reading speed up to 4x and improves reading-specific performance on standardized tests, such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, and USMLE. Students see an average increase in score of 13% on reading-specific question sets. Students learn to read faster and enter tests calm and focused.
Included in the class is some of our Full Potential Coaching which draws from hypnosis, Neuro-linguistic programming, sound therapy, mindfulness and more. The techniques help students enter a 'zone' or 'flow state' while taking tests. In this state we are most relaxed and able to access what we've learned. The skills provide students with a competitive edge, lead them to best performance and top scores, and are valuable skills sets beyond taking any test.
