Need help talking to someone with dementia?
Join my informative, casual, low-cost workshop designed to help family caregivers communicate better with an aging family member, or friend with Alzheimer's, or dementia.
Workshops are held in my downtown San Francisco office (Easy BART and Muni accessiblity).
These workshops are part of the therapeutic services I offer to family caregivers in my private San Francisco psychotherapy practice. Space is limited so registration is necessary.
Some Topics Commonly Covered:
- Minimizing resistance and fear - Working with delusions, not against them - Why affirming a strange reality is better than correcting it - What to do when rational arguments don't work - Avoiding arguments and tension
