There are so many diverse, rich ways in which we can serve our clients in the mental health community, and we're excited to bring together our colleagues in the field to learn more about how we might serve one another as mental health allies. Please join us and representatives from various mental health agencies as we think outside the box during a casual networking mixer and panel discussion!
Who: You and the Arizona Psychological Association: Inspiring One Mind at a Time
What:
•Mixer with light refreshments and snacks
•Networking with mental health leaders and representatives from organizations in your area and our greater community
•Connections with interdisciplinary peers with whom you may cross-refer and create consultation groups
•Fun give-aways!
•Dynamic panel discussion with Shelly Uram, MD (Psychiatrist) Mary Delaney, PhD (Psychologist) Mark Rohde, PhD (Psychologist) and RIchard Herbig, Ph.D. (Clinical Social Work/Therapist) on avenues and successes of cross-collaboration Dan Schulte, PhD will serve as moderator for a lively exchange.
•Interactive discussion on how mental health professionals and community agencies can serve one another, with particular attention to who providers may refer clients to for management of varying needs, including case management services, crisis intervention services, volunteer opportunities, quality of life and enhancements, etc.
