"So You Think You Can Lap Dance? Season 1 Finale" is the 7th and FINAL show of the FIRST season of the show. Watch as the past 7 winners battle it out for the title of "Champion Lap Dancer," a cash prize of $500, a dozen donuts, and a tiara.
Pearl Marill, Isadora Duncan Dance Award winner and artistic director of Modern On Command or MOC, created SYTYCLD to continue in her vision of combining modern dance with comedy and improvisation. All performers have extensive dance, theater, and performance experience and are challenged to perform IMPROVISED modern dance+lap dances on AUDIENCE VOLUNTEERS using songs selected by the audience.
Not your typical "lap dances," Marill selects performers in the dance and theater world that have strong improv chops and serious skills in both dance and comedy. Some stand-out characters that performed dances at the last shows included Joan of Arc, Mr. Rogers, Bacon, Cowgirl Creamery, and Maddie Ziegler from Sia's infamous "Chandelier" video.
