The Celtic Christmas Concert & Gathering will celebrate its sixth year in what has become a popular local tradition of music, food, seasonal fun and laughter.
Pog Mo Thoin, fronted by Irish-born Gabe Duffin, is a popular local band that features lively jigs, Irish Folk, Christmas favorites and is known for spontaneously breaking into a Pink Floyd number at irreverent times. For this event, the show includes the return of special guests Erin Ruth Thompson and Kathy Buys.
Gathering & potluck begins at 6pm, concert approximately 7:30. This family friendly event will feature live music, a potluck meal, free cider & tea. Wine, Irish Whiskey and beer will be available for purchase.
The family-friendly celebration is an opportunity to meet and mingle with friends both old and new. Guests are encouraged to share a potluck dish of their choice and, in the past, buffet items have ranged anywhere from traditional Irish stew to a platter of McDonald's cheeseburgers or fancy holiday treats. Cider and tea are offered for free, and wine, beer and Irish Whiskey is available for purchase.
