2016 FOUNDERS DAY LUNCHEON "Continuing a Tradition of Achieving Through Education and Action"
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - The Deltas are convening in San Francisco to celebrate Founders Day! The Northern California Coordinating Council cordially invites members of the community to attend our Founders Day Luncheon on Feb. 20th, 2016, 12 Noon to 3: pm at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel, located at 333 O'Farrell Street.
The event will feature our very own National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Dr. Paulette C. Walker as keynote speaker. Come and hear Dr. Walker, an accomplished educator known for inspiring others to discover their inner gifts, and for empowering each and every life she touches. Deltas attending as special guests are: Mona Humphries Bailey, 17th National President, Sandra Phillips Johnson, Far West Regional Director and Mariah M. Kelly, Far West Regional Representative.
The Northern California Coordinating Council represents 26 Bay Area chapters. The Deltas in these chapters improve the lives of those in need through community service programs focused on improving education, economic empowerment, political awareness and involvement, and physical and mental health. Nationwide, we have over 250,000 dedicated members.
Our program includes a silent auction, vocal and dancing performances and a service project benefiting the Youth and Families in Transition Program of the San Francisco Unified School District. Donations of Target Gift cards for the Transition Program will be accepted.
