Summer Art at the Bothwell is sure to be your child's summer highlight! These crazy creative art lessons are taught by professional artists to two age groups: 7-10 year-olds and 11-18 year-olds.
With a new fun theme each week, we offer multiple media to be explored: Watercolor, acrylic, collage, mixed media, clay, chalk, pencil on canvas, paper, sculpture, fabric, murals and more Oils and spray paints for the older group, and some arts & crafts for the younger.
An artists' reception will take place at the end of the week, where family and friends are invited to see the works on display, and budding artists get exhibition experience.
Perfect for the budding artist and the serious art students looking to stretch their depth of knowledge, technique and portfolio pieces.
Snack will be provided, please bring a bag lunch. 3 weeks (older artists will have the freedom to explore and experiment based on their individual interests):
June 27-July 1 Pirates and Mermaids: Set your imagination to sail on the deep blue sea with all the inspiration the world's oceans offer. July 18-July 22 Dragons and Legends: Painted throughout history, this theme roars with creative potential. July 25-July 29 Superheroes and Villains: A theme near and dear to every kid's heart, this is the week to channel your inner hero. $300 per week if registered by May 15th $350 thereafter.
