Saturday, October 1 is the inaugural Treat Yourself 5K: A Family Fun Run Benefiting Elders, the Community and You, at Seward Park which will directly benefit Providence ElderPlace and Providence Heritage House at the Market.
The event, sponsored by Premera, will include various avenues for participants to treat themselves: a healthy activity of a 5K run or walk, time with family and friends, information to encourage a healthy mind, body and soul, and treats to indulge in afterwards.
At the post-race celebration enjoy treats from KIND Healthy Snacks, Cliff Bars, Street Treats, Zico Coconut Water, Dante's Inferno Hot Dogs and Zing bars to name a few!
There will also be a balloon artist and face painter so bring the whole family!
Runners and walkers are $35 and kids under 12 can participate in a special 1k race free of charge!
