Info:
Our region's leading experts will weigh in on the Puget Sound housing affordability crisis as part of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties' Housing Summit. Join keynote speaker and Washington State Governor Jay Inslee in discussion geared toward finding solutions to the growing economic concerns of our collective community. Appearing along with Governor Inslee are Chief Economist of Windermere Real Estate Matthew Gardner, Vice President and Relationship Manager of Washington Trust Bank John DesCamp, as well as President and CEO of Solid Ground Gordon McHenry, Jr.
In addition to the impressive speaker selection above, the Summit will feature a panel discussion with state legislators and housing experts including Senator Joe Fain, Representative Larry Springer, and Director of U.W. Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies Peter Orser.
Community members are strongly encouraged to participate in this timely, vital discussion on one of humanity's basic needs, and one of our greatest obstacles as a continuously growing economic core. The goal of the Summit is to work together toward finding resolutions to one of our region's biggest obstacles in relation to continued expansion and prosperity.
The 2016 Housing Summit is made possible by Parr Lumber, as well as AAA KARTAK Glass & Closet, Puget Sound Energy, and Caliber Home Loans. Conceived by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties to directly confront the Puget Sound's most pressing issues, the annual Housing Summit celebrates three years in 2016.
