Kearny Street Workshop, the country's oldest and longest-running Asian Pacific American community arts organization, is bringing tomorrow's artists to the forefront with APAture 2016: Here. From September 30th through October 15th, in venues across San Francisco, this one-of-a-kind festival highlights some of the brightest local talent in Visual Arts, Music, Comics & Illustration, Literary Arts, Performing Arts, and Film.
Featured artists include eclectic artist Nina Vichayapai Los Sirenas and Ruby Mountain's Krystle Ahmadyar cartoonist and educator, Trinidad Escobar author of In the Tongue of Ghosts, Jade Cho URBAN x INDIGENOUS founder Sammay Dizon, and filmmaker, Viet Le
