Healthier Futures is a health and wellness Collaborative with a single intention: To change the world by empowering women to design healthier lives through wellness and self-care. This year, we honor First Lady Michelle Obama, J.D., mother, sister, author, wife, and style icon. Mrs. Obama has redefined how America views on womanhood, motherhood, marriage, and health. Bringing to the fore the fundamental issues of nutrition and physical activity, Mrs. Obama launched the Let's Move Campaign and helped usher in the Hunger-Free Kids Act during her tenure in the White House. She is also responsible for the largest vegetable White House Vegetable Garden in history. In the #GimmeFive Challenge, she urged Americans to use social media to share five things they are doing to eat better, be more active, and lead healthier lives. Mrs. Obama has frequently mentioned her late-night, full-body spin class obsession as a way to practice self-care, relieve stress and stay physically fit.
