Now in its fifteenth year, the annual ArtWalk festival sponsored by the Bothwell Arts Center and Downtown Art Studios returns to fill downtown Livermore with the works of over 150 artists in all types of styles and media. ArtWalk is a cross between a traditional arts festival and an exhibition tour and attracts thousands each year. The streets are kept open and the displays are clustered throughout the center of the city, in and around parks, sidewalks, galleries, restaurants and shops.
Explore art from contemporary to classical, fine art to fine handcrafts, abstract to realism, pottery to mixed media, with subject matter from floral to figurative and much more. Come and experience all that this wine country downtown has to offer as a "gallery district for a day."
Special art destination offerings include the 50th Anniversary Celebration of LCAC (the Livermore Cultural Arts Council), postcards and artwork created by disabled Veterans at the Bankhead Theater, exhibitions throughout downtown as part of Art Stroll, open studios at Firehouse Art Studios, Bothwell's Downtown Art Studios and more.
Help us paint a big dragon sculpture! and, check out arts and crafts for children at Lizzie Fountain at the corner of First Street and South Livermore Avenue.
