Atomic bombs! Terrorists! Lone shooters! Viruses! Threats are everywhere!
How Not To Die bravely and humorously explores how we try to protect ourselves from these threats and how that impacts the way we live.
In this multi-character solo show, Sherri Rose counts down her Top 10 ways not to die. Within each one, she connects her personal experiences to the lives of others, including a young Marine in Afghanistan, a Hungarian Holocaust survivor, and students and teachers post-Sandy Hook shooting.
How Not To Die is full of crazy - and not so crazy - safety tips from washing your curtains in Borax to repel radiation to what to include in your earthquake bins. Sherri interacts with the audience throughout because we're all in this together making choices in the name of safety and survival!
How Not To Die is playful and poignant, personal, and political. It begs the question: How do we balance staying alive and truly living?
