Santa! Pop-up Shopping! Live Music! Holiday Fun abounds at the 5th Annual Fillmore Holiday Marketplace. With more than 30 pop-up merchants selling their crafts, food and drink, live music, Santa, and a photo-booth, this festive celebration is a crowd-pleaser. In addition to the marketplace, live music will abound, featuring some of the artists associated with San Francisco's historic Fillmore District. Levi Seacer, New Power Soul and Rich Felix and Friends will perform throughout the day and a free holiday concert will take place in the concert hall (formerly Yoshi's) beginning at 8pm.
The Marketplace will feature participants from Enterprising Women!, a community initiative focused on empowering women and mentoring them through start-up. Additional businesses round out the Marketplace from PopUpsters, a community of makers, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs.
And Santa is taking time out of his busy schedule for a visit from 5-8pm.
The 5th Annual Holiday Marketplace is presented by Urban Solutions, an San-Francisco-based non-profit that builds better neighborhoods, one business at a time. Their work in the Fillmore district, as well as SOMA and Tenderloin, has helped small business owners stay in business and have opened the door for economic development and revitalization.
