Shabbat Shira celebrates a unique musical moment in Torah. Temple Sinai in Oakland is one of more than 20 congregations across the nation observing this year's Sabbath of Song with an extraordinary musical service. Ladorot Habaim: For Generations to Come, was written by Dr. Michael Isaacson, one of the most prolific and accomplished American Jewish composers of our time. The national premiere will occur simultaneously in 20 Reform synagogues on Friday, February 10, 2017. This premier performance will take place in Temple Sinai's magnificent 102 year-old sanctuary, which is registered as a historical building.
Temple Sinai is a Reform Jewish congregation serving the Bay Area since 1875. http://www.oaklandsinai.org/
