Come in costume and celebrate the spring holiday of Lag B'Omer, with a spectacular fire festival and party filled with fun, creativity and meaning.
We're bringing primal vitality to Lag B'Omer, the Jewish holiday marking the 33rd day of the Counting of the Omer, the period between Passover and Shavuot. The holiday is about treating people with respect - being a "mensch" - and lighting the fires of our own hearts.
The festival will feature fire sculpture and performers food and drink face painting arts and community mural live bands silent disco and DJs and the celebration of principles of Menschkeit.
Burning Mensch is a community collaboration-if you have a workshop, stall or attraction you would like to bring, please email rvasilakos@paloaltojcc.org.
