BCO & HTXO Present: Houston Outdoor LIVE Summertime Dogs June 21, 2017 – 7:00 – 7:30 EaDo Dog Park 2300 Polk St Houston, TX 77003 7:30 – on Dog Social at 8th Wonder Brewery
Houston Outdoor LIVE – grab your dog and join us in person. Or, check the LIVE event online at our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BayouCityOutdoors . Both events run simultaneously and you can join the Q&A online or in person.
Each week we take a topic, drill down as quick & deep as we can, to get you up to speed and out playing. We’ll take Q&A after the presentation and then head over to 8th Wonder with the dogs for a brew.
Keep your dog safe and healthy in the Houston heat We’ll explore all the places to take your dog to play and learn what you need to know to keep them happy & well in the sweltering summer heat There is nothing better than having your best friend along on those summer time strolls, hikes and lake trips. However, summer can be especially harmful for our furry friends.
We’ll be talking about: - Where to take your dog in the summer to keep them cool and safe - How to tell if your dog is overheating and what to do (it can happen VERY quickly) - Fit your dog for a life jacket and how to determine if they need one. - Fit your dog for boots and learn when to wear them and when they shouldn't - Texas State Parks rules and avoiding fines - Keep them safe from sunburn
Come get informed and keep your dog safe and happy in the summer!
Don’t miss out. You'll also be able to download the free #10Essentials for Summer Dogs this evening - we promise to help you keep your dog safe and happy!
