A CHALK ART CONTEST for the best drawing will be judged after 4 p.m. Same-day art registration 10-5PM at 1495, 1607 & 1849 Shattuck Ave. Cash prizes are $150, $100, $50 compliments of The Coder School and runners-up get a $25 gift certificate from Books Inc. To EAT CHOCOLATE, Purchase tickets ($1/ea. or $20/20) at 1451, 1495, 1607 or 1849 Shattuck Ave. on the day of the event or in advance at Eventbrite. The to-go menu features over 25 items including picante habanero chocolate gelato, chocolate profiteroles, dark chocolate truffles, Oreo shakes, chocolate ganache cupcakes, or savory menu items such as chocolate chicken kabobs, or, for those over 21, campfire s'more stout, and more. Spend your tickets on these delights available in the local businesses then savor your chocolate as you stroll along the sidewalks, viewing the artwork. Or enter your tickets in a raffle for specialty items
Festival booths fill the blocks between Rose and Vine Streets. Enjoy Singha beer or wine at the Vine Street Stage where you can hear the Rusty String Express (Bluegrass), Humanistic Trio (Jazz), or Laura Weinback (Jazz Guitar).
