Let the good times roll! The festive spirit and flavor of the Big Easy is coming to the Bay Area! The 47th Millbrae Art & Wine Festival, The Last Blast of Summer coming up September 2-3, is the Bay Area's biggest Labor Day weekend event with huge crowds transforming the city into a fantastically fun Mardi Gras-style celebration featuring two sun-splashed days of live music on stage and street throughout downtown, a juried show with 250 professional artists and craftmakers showing their latest handcrafted wares, fabulous food and drink with premium wine, refreshing sangria, tasty seasonal craft beer, fresh-fruit margaritas, Bloody Mary's and Honeycrisp Apple Mules - the signature craft cocktail, Forty Creek Whisky sampling lounge, trailer and cornhole game area, Hops Haven microbrew tasting tent, the Classically Cool Car Show, plus artisan specialty food purveyors, tons of fun for kids with the Streets Filled With Talent Music & Dance Showcase plus an ultra thrilling zip-line soaring over Broadway, wild and wacky waterballerz, exciting thrill rides, 100-foot Super Slide, a rock climbing wall and an abundance of amazing amusements for kids in the Super Duper Funzone, an organic and green products showcase, home and garden exhibits, health and wellness displays.
The blockbuster non-stop entertainment lineup includes Zepparella, East Bay Mudd, Boombox, Cisco Kid - War Tribute, Sang Matiz, Lumberyard, Loudin' Cleer, John Clarke, Bob Culbertson, and HeartStrings Music. Ride Caltrain, SamTrans or BART to the festival - you're dropped off a short walk, 3 blocks away! Festival admission is free. Presented by the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce.
