Community Music Day is Crowden's annual FREE musical carnival for the entire family. Join Crowden, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, San Francisco Girls Chorus, and East Bay Music Together for a day of musical fun and exploration!
Kids and adults alike touch and learn to make sounds on the instruments of a symphony orchestra in our huge "Instrument Petting Zoo." San Francisco Chamber Orchestra performs Very First Concerts for wriggly toddlers, with repeat performances of "Big, Bold, Brass!" at 10:40, 11:20, and 12:00pm. The celebration also includes instrument making, class demos, and musical performances for kids, by kids throughout the day, including the San Francisco Girls Chorus and Crowden students! Try BBQ and baked goods, browse our music sale, visit the face painting booths, and more! Every child receives a special prize at Community Music Day. Please join us!
Community Music Day is free to all at Crowden Music Center. Crowden is wheel-chair accessible and near N. Berkeley BART.
