Info:
Join the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir in sending peace, love, and joy through song at our 32nd Annual Holiday Concert at the historic Paramount Theatre in Oakland! We will be joined by a wonderful group of special guests. Kev Choice, Tamara Edwards, Logan McWilliams, and the explosive Ms. Jackie Tolbert will lend their sensational voices, and the incredible Half-N-Half will provide American Sign Language interpretation. And this year, we are honored to have this concert hosted by the multi-talented, award-winning actor LeVar Burton!
This year was especially eventful and meaningful for OIGC. In the spring we hosted over 400 singers from all over the globe for our first-ever International Interfaith Gospel Music Conference, and in the fall we are teaming up with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus as part of their tour of the southern states to send love, joy, and peace.
This year's Holiday Concert is an opportunity for us to share all that we have learned about the healing power of music with our community and to celebrate the message of inclusion that is at the heart of OIGC's mission. As we grow closer with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus during the lead-up to the Lavender Pen Tour, we continue to realize how fortunate we are to have such a vibrant, diverse, and all-around wonderful community here in the Bay Area. This holiday season, when we hold our family a little closer to us and reconnect with our values, we would like to unite all who believe in our mission in a magnificent night of song.
So come join us and show your support of our message. Send some joy, peace, and love of your own for a spectacular evening with OIGC!
