The Museum of Craft and Design welcomes renowned artist, designer and surfer Jay Nelson to MCD on November 18th for an exclusive afternoon workshop experience! In an artist-led workshop, participants will construct their own Nelson-designed lamp from wood and brass pieces.
The limited edition lamp you will create mirrors the one found in Structure for Seeing 5, Jay's work in our Architectural Pavilions exhibition. Eagle-eyed visitors will also recognize Jay's custom lamps from a number of San Francisco restaurants - you will not want to miss this opportunity to get in the studio with a local icon! Check out videos and blogs about Jay Nelson on Vissla!
Only 15 spots are available and tickets must be purchased by November 11, 2017. Get yours before they are gone! bit.ly/2iyCHQW
