Info:
On Sunday, January 21, 2018 NVCM presents the Joshua Trio, a newly formed chamber ensemble comprising three artists who are beloved in the Bay Area-cellist Emil Miland, harpist Meredith Clark, and soprano Ann Moss. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Emil Miland has now been a member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra for nearly 30 years. Ann Moss is a champion of contemporary vocal music who has been described as a "transformative artist" with a "sweetly crystalline sound" (San Francisco Classical Voice). Meredith Clark is a versatile harpist, whose varied interests have taken her all over the world to perform as a soloist, chamber musician, and as part of an orchestra. To help celebrate the 300th anniversary of Emil's cello, these three prominent musicians will come together to deliver a performance unlike any other. All guests are invited to mingle with the artists at a hosted AfterParty reception and conversation moderated by Bruce Lamott, immediately following the performance.
