Winter Nights at the Osher Marin JCC presents: An Evening of Latin Fusion Music and Dancing Featuring LOS PINGUOS Sat. Jan 27, 2018: 8pm
The Kanbar Center at the Osher Marin JCC brings the multicultural flavors, movement, live music and fun of Summer Nights festivals to the indoor Hoytt Theater & Plaza J. Los Pinguos performs for the opening concert of the series, celebrating Latin cultures with live music, light delicious Mexican food choices from Marin Country Mart's own El Huarache Loco's on-site pop-up restaurant and dance party with no-host cocktails.
Originally from Buenos Aires Argentina and inspired by their love for the Beatles, Los Pinguos created their own blend of vivacious and infectious music with Spanish guitars and harmonizing vocals. The result is exciting, passionate, joyful music that inspires the audience to get up and dance and leave their worries behind.
Exciting, driving Latin beats, the beautiful wooden floored Hoytt theater and candle-lit cabaret tables set the mood, and the full bar with no-host cocktails and pop up restaurant will be open in the adjacent Plaza J.
Come shake off your winter blues with a joyful night of performance, dance and fun! Watch, Learn, Participate, and Enjoy!
