Providence Hospice of Seattle invites youth in grades K-12 to join a grief support group to share, engage in creative expression and learn that they are not alone.
The time after the death of someone important in a child or teen's life can be bewildering. Many youth report feeling alone as their peers don't understand what they're going through. Providence Hospice of Seattle's "Standing Together" support group brings together grieving youth in a safe, supportive environment. Kids, teens and parents meet with trained staff and volunteers in small groups with others their own age.
Standing Together meets Noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 24, March 31, April 28 and May 26, 2018, at Riverfront Technical Park, 2811 S.102nd St., Suite 220, Tukwila, Wash. Pizza lunch will be served. Participants may attend all or one of the dates. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Emili Fletcher at 206-225-5816 or emili.fletcher@providence.org.
