About SQUARED:
As featured recently in The Wall Street Journal https://on.wsj.com/2GmCThj, SQUARED is an totem of gigantic proportions, the product of a futuristic world post-nature. The cubic form and fractal arrangement of 3D light pixels represent the evolution of organic matter and its amalgamation with digital technology. This tree reflects the universe of complexity, mystery, and serendipity that defines our journey through time and emergence into the future age.
About the Artist:
Charlie Gadeken is an industrial artist working in the Bay Area for over 25 years. His monumental interactive public artworks, which reimagine the world post-nature and include commissions by Black Rock Arts Foundation, Insomniac Events, Coachella, Absolut Vodka and the City of Palo Alto, have been exhibited internationally. Charles has inspired hundreds of people to participate in art-making and personally trained volunteers in the process of creating and installing art for private collections and public art for various commissions. http://www.charlesgadeken.com/
