Info:
The San Francisco Piano Trio consists of three multinational stellar musicians: Axel Strauss, violin (Germany): Jean-Michel Fonteneau, cello (France) and Jeffrey Sykes, piano (USA). Known for terrific virtuosity, technical fluency and unerring musicianship, this trio will treat you to an array of well-seasoned favorites by Mozart and Brahms as well as to the scintillating Ravel Trio.
Recently featured in concerts in California and Wisconsin, the Well-Tempered Ear noted that the trio "brought a closely attentive and particularly quiet audience to its feet for a prolonged standing ovation..."
Join us for the delightful W.A. Mozart Trio in E Major, K. 542 Johannes Brahms' dramatic Trio in C Major, Op. 87 and Maurice Ravel's ravishing Piano Trio in A minor. And don't miss the opportunity to chat with the musicians at our hosted reception immediately following the concert.
