Join Aliza Kline and explore what it means to empower people (especially millennials) to create their own Jewish practice and make Jewish life feel accessible and attainable.
Aliza Kline is a Coloradan living in NYC. She serves as the founding Executive Director of OneTable, an online and in-person hub for millennials to end their week with intention and create unique Shabbat dinners. Aliza also co-founded Mayyim Hayyim Community Mikveh and Education Center in Boston, an international model for re-imagining Jewish ritual open to the full diversity of the Jewish community.
In 2009, Aliza was awarded an Avi Chai Fellowship. A trained coach and design thinking facilitator, she has worked with clients throughout North America and Israel.
Aliza earned her Bachelor's degree in history and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and her Master's in public administration from New York University. She lives in Brooklyn, with her husband Rabbi Bradley Solmsen and their three daughters.
The previous night, July 30, Aliza will lead "Redesigning Judaism: Imagining and Re-imagining Rituals for Jewish Life Today", an informative session focused on human-centered design for modern Jewish life and rituals.
Part of the Architects of the Jewish Future Series, which brings thinkers, activists and creators at the cutting edge of Jewish life to the Oshman Family JCC. We believe that the story of Judaism in the 21st century will emerge out of the work of these trailblazers and invite you to get to know these individuals and their visionary ideas in an intimate setting.
