Join us as six storytellers share tales of being out of their element, over their head or out of their league. Traveling to new lands, changing careers, taking risks and facing the unknown. Misfits, mavericks, rookies, eccentrics, immigrants and more. Whether out of a sense of adventure, struggling to survive, or just a victim of circumstance they find themselves neck deep in unfamiliar, awkward and downright uncomfortable situations.

Got a Fish Out of Water story to tell on Aug 14? We want to hear it! Pitch it here: https://goo.gl/forms/onUBHiyiYNqUTekX2. Stories must be true and based on your own experiences.

About Beyond Borders Storytelling
Beyond Borders Storytelling features wanderlusting adventurers with a story to tell. Originally founded by three former Peace Corps Volunteers as a way to share stories about living overseas BBS has expanded to now feature stories from anyone. Whether you're building bridges at home or abroad, across cultures or under the same roof, we seek unique perspectives from anyone interested in creating greater understanding through the art of storytelling.
Every month Beyond Borders runs workshops on how to develop and tell engaging stories. We host practice storytelling sessions where storytellers can try out their creations with a supportive group of other storytellers. Visit us at beyondbordersstorytelling.org to find out how you can join us on stage to share your story.
