Info:
Backpacks, pens, pencils, notebooks and binders are a few examples of the many schools supplies that are needed by Colorado students every year. To ensure that students have what they need to succeed and start the year off right, Larry H. Miller Dealerships are partnering with Denver’s 9NEWS and Volunteers of America Colorado Branch for the 17th annual “Stuff for Students” school supply drive.
Throughout the month of August, Larry H. Miller Dealerships – with the help of customers and employees – will look to fill a car, truck or SUV in each of their showrooms with essential school supplies. “Stuff for Students” collection bins will be featured at Larry H. Miller locations in Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, Thornton, Federal Heights and Boulder.
In addition, monetary contributions can be made online through Volunteers of America at http://www.voacolorado.org/news_and_events/stuff-for-students. Donations collected will be distributed to more than 15 school districts throughout Colorado to benefit pre-kindergarten to high school students in need and in underserved communities.
