The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch(R) at the Palo Alto Art Center returns for its 23rd consecutive year as the largest glass pumpkin patch of its kind in Northern California Sept. 29 and 30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with a wide selection of handmade glass pumpkins, glass-blowing demonstrations, a caricature artist, refreshments, and more. During the free family-friendly autumn celebration, visitors are invited to wander through an outdoor installation of more than 10,000 unique glass pumpkins and purchase them to take home. This is the only sale of glass pumpkins that supports the presenting local arts and nonprofit organizations: the Bay Area Glass Institute Palo Alto Art Center and Palo Alto Art Center Foundation, as well as participating artists.
