OIGC's 33rd Annual Holiday Concert: "WITH ONE VOICE" celebrates the release of the documentary "One Voice: The Story of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir"
Honoring the completion of the documentary "One Voice," the Oakland Interfaith Family of Choirs will come together in song and celebration. The documentary illuminates a group of people from diverse faiths, races, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, and lifestyles, all with a common goal: to bring joy and inspiration to the stage through black gospel music. This year's holiday concert is no exception.
Along with multi-talented host D'Wayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Tone!, guest artists Lauren Byrd and Josh Carter, ASL interpreters Half-N-Half, the Oakland Interfaith Community Choir, and Oakland Interfaith Youth Choir, this concert is an opportunity for us to share the power of music with our community. It will kick off your December and put you into the holiday spirit!
Join us as we celebrate the message of inclusion that is at the heart of OIGC's mission. This holiday season, when we hold our family a little closer to us and reconnect with our values, we can share a message of love, unity, and acceptance With One Voice.
