Dive into Marine Science with the Marine Science Institute!
This after school six week Monday course is geared for students ages 6-10. Aspiring scientists get hands on experience with the tools that marine scientists use in the field to gather information and conduct surveys.
As junior scientists, they will gain confidence in using scientific equipment as they catch animals, take data, care for animals in our aquarium, and dissect a squid. Students will be using teamwork to cooperate in small groups, and record their favorite animals and fascinating facts in their log books each week.
