Learn Fast: How I Went From Zero to First Paid Customer in 12 Weeks, With No Coding Amelia Lin, Founder of Keep Life Stories
In addition to our regular roundtable conversation we have a bootstrapper as a featured attendee: Amelia Lin, founder of Keep Life Stories (https://keeplifestories.com/) will share lessons learned "Going from Zero to First Paid Customer in 12 Weekswith No Coding."
Amelia's story: "When I started a service to capture a loved one's life story on audio, I was coming from a completely different background in EdTech. I needed to know: Would people even want such a product? How much would they pay for it? Who were the right people to sell to? Why would they buy my thing instead of something else? ...and I needed to learn all of this, very fast. Here's my top lessons on how I sped up that learning feedback cycle and closed our first paid customer 12 weeks later, without writing any code."
About the Bootstrapper: Before starting Keep Life Stories, Amelia Lin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/amelialin) was a product manager at Udacity and worked at a range of Bay Area software startups. Keep Life Stories (https://keeplifestories.com/) is a service to capture a loved one's life story on audio, and came out of her own desire to have her parents' stories recorded for family history.
At a Bootstrappers Breakfast(R) we have serious conversations about growing a business based on internal cashflow and organic profit: this is for founders who are actively bootstrapping a startup. We meet in the back room at several Silicon Valley restaurants so space is limited - Please RSVP. Join us upstairs for a little caffeine and sharing among the startup community.
Join other entrepreneurs who eat problems for breakfast.
