Info:
Bay Area favorites Tanya Tomkins, cello, Eric Zivian, piano and Tom Stone, violin, perform a program of great romantic-era chamber music, joined by Artistic Directors Meena Bhasin and Owen Dalby for Schumann's ebullient Piano Quintet to close out the season.
We'll showcase several rare violins, a viola and a cello by Stradivari, Amati and Bergonzi made in 17th and 18th centuries-masters of the golden age of violinmaking-as well as a beautiful replica of a Beethoven-era fortepiano.
The performance lasts approximately 2 hours, including a short intermission. Audience members are invited to mingle with the performers at an After Party with wine and hors d'oeuvres at the venue immediately following the performance.
