Please join us for the opening art reception of "Nocturne" juried by Jennifer Perlmutter, owner of the Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery in Lafayette, CA. "Nocturne" conveys a dreamy, pensive composition or works of art dealing with the coming of darkness, evocative of the night, subjects as they appear in a veil of light, twilight or the absence of direct light. Subjects associated with the night include nocturnal animals and birds, people working the night shift, landscapes and cityscapes at night, and nocturnal fantasy creatures such witches, vampires and ghosts.
