On March 15 at 3pm, the Telegraph Quartet and soprano Abigail Fischer will give the world premiere of composer Robert Sirota's Contrapassos with libretto by Stevan Cavalier at Grace Presbyterian Church. This commission is part of Sirota @ 70, a celebration throughout the season of performances in honor of the composer's 70th birthday. They will then present two encore performances of Contrapassos: March 17 at 12:30pm at Old St. Mary's Cathedral and Wednesday, and March 18 at 7:30pm at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. All performances include Beethoven's String Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131. Sunday and Wednesday also feature Schoenberg's String Quartet No. 2 Op. 10.
