BCO Party in the Park March 22, 2020 – 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM Meet at Memorial Park by the rugby/soccer field parking lot N Picnic Lane Houston, TX 77007
Let’s face it. When you go on a hike and you don’t really know anyone, you tend to just talk to the person who’s walking next to you. And while we try to mix things up on the hike, there’s no better way to get to know people than over a little food and drinks! :D
So whether you went on the hike or not, join us for a party in the park! We’ll bring cornhole and grab a volleyball court if one is available. Plus we’ll provide light snacks.
What to bring: - Camping chair or something to sit on (you can get one for $5 at Academy) - Lunch or snack to share - Comfortable shoes to change into after the hike - Sun protection - Drink of choice (no glass, no styrofoam.)
How to find the group: Park near the rugby fields and walk across the street to the volleyball nets.
NOTE: Our hike is done about 11:30 am at Memorial Park so if you arrive before us, please grab a table near an open volleyball court.
Parking: There is a small parking lot at the Rugby Fields, Street parking and a larger lot by the baseball fields (on picnic lane, not the regular 3-mile running loop.)

Never been before? No worries! More than half of the people going have never been before and many people show up by themselves. So when you show up, if everyone looks like they have known each other for years.... Don’t worry. They likely just met. Look for the event leader and then them know it’s your first time and we’ll make sure to take care of you! :D
