JOIN US FOR AN EVENING OF REUNION, REMEMBRANCE AND RENEWAL LIGHT IN THE GROVE, RE-IMAGINED ~ NOVEMBER 30, 2021 Light in the Grove returns on November 30, completely outdoors, as a re-imagined, magical celebration of Reunion, Remembrance, and Renewal in the National AIDS Memorial Grove. Light in the Grove, held annually on the eve of World AIDS Day, is our largest annual fundraising event, with all proceeds directly supporting the mission and programs of the National AIDS Memorial.
Please join us as a Host as we bring back this unique and inspiring experience, recognized as one of the Bay Area's best LGBTQ+ community events since 2011!
Although not held in our traditional tent, this year's outdoor Light in the Grove will be more spectacular in other ways, as we mark the 30th anniversary of the National AIDS Memorial Grove, and artistically illuminate numerous areas - significantly more than usual - of the Grove's beautiful landscape.
This magical nighttime, outdoor 'journey' through nature, art, and light will include: ~ A champagne stroll, under the evening sky, through the magnificence of the magically lit Grove ~ Beautifully illuminated pathways with brilliant, colorful light displays, imaginative artistic features, and enchanting dance and musical performances ~ Covid-safe, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, sweets, and beverage stations throughout the outdoor 'journey' ~ Our traditional, moving candlelight reflection at the Circle of Friends ~ A stunning, night-time outdoor display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt ~ Inspirational reflections from featured guest speakers during a short outdoor program
Your support of Light in the Grove ensures our mission and programs of the National AIDS Memorial, which include the care of our beloved Grove and the 50,000 panels of the AIDS Quilt. As we navigate toward the hopeful end of Covid, your support is more important than ever!
