Wed, Dec 1, 7-8:30pm Pacific, in person and livestream
Meet the dynamic young gourmet entrepreneur Chef Victor Aguilera, whose delivery service Arepas en Bici launched in April 2020 in the midst of the covid pandemic. In conversation with KQED En Espanol reporter Carlos Cabrera-Lomeli, Aguilera will share his love of cycling and Venezuelan comfort food with stories and savory tastes from his culinary start-up. His vision was to share a little piece of his home and childhood in Venezuela with the Bay Area.
This event is part of KQED En Espanol's Mi Herencia series, which fuses cooking, storytelling, intergenerational conversation to showcase the cultural meaning and family inheritance behind distinctive dishes created by Bay Area chefs and proprietors of small local food businesses.
