Join us for an afternoon of beautiful Romantic music with the Capriccio Chamber Orchestra in their first live music concert of the 2021-2022 season.

Capriccio Chamber Orchestra, led by Music Director Alexander Eisenberg, fosters music education and training for the next generation of young aspiring musicians by providing a platform where students in the orchestra are coached by professional musicians who play alongside them during rehearsals and performances. Each concert performance features Capriccio Chamber Orchestra's core professional musicians as well as some selected youth talent.
Mr. Eisenberg belongs to the famous Russian Violin School, which has produced a great number of extraordinary masters of the instrument. He began his studies in Odessa with his grandfather, Michael Greenberg, and then continued his studies at the Moscow Conservatory. While in Moscow, Alex won numerous Soviet competitions. He later studied at the Vienna University for Music and Arts.
After leaving the Soviet Union, Mr. Eisenberg won first prize and a gold medal in the Michelangelo Abbado Violin Competition in Sondrio, Italy, along with the Paolo Borciani special prize for chamber music. He is also a winner of the Concorso Internationale Rameu in France. Alex has performed with orchestras and symphonies worldwide. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in Europe, South and North Americas with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Soloists, Odessa Philharmonic, Belgrade Radio Symphony Orchestra, Dubrovnik Festival Orchestra, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra.
