City Repertory Theater company launches a search for a new artistic director. Who is the best available candidate? Rising star and hometown hero Jonathan Spector interviewed dozens of theater makers to create this satirical tale. Some subjects are much too serious to be dramas.

The play features Sarah Mitchell (she/her), Regina Morones (she/her), Denise Tyrell (she/her), linda maria giron (they/them), Austine De Los Santos (they/them), Storm White (she/her), Steve Price (he/him), and Dave Maier (he/him).
Jonathan Spector is a playwright and screenwriter based in Oakland, California. He is best known for his vaccination comedy, EUREKA DAY, which was recently seen at the West End at London's Old Vic Theater (co-produced with Sonia Friedman Productions), starring Academy, Golden Globe, and Emmy-Award winner Helen Hunt.
Jon Tracy works internationally as an art and culture producer for theatre and film. A director, playwright, designer, educator, and facilitator, he is the recipient of awards from the Kennedy Center, North Bay Artys, Marquee Journalists, Ellys, Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle, and Theatre Bay Area, and has also been honored with the Solano College Theatre Alumni Award.
Kimberly Ridgeway is director, playwright, actor, and producer who has directed projects for many Bay Area theaters including Altarena Playhouse, Oakland Theatre Project, SF Playhouse, SF Playground, and TheatreFirst, as well as Three Willows Theatre (TX), National Black Theatre (NY), and Spokane Civic Theatre (WA). Kimberly is the Theatre Bay Area (TBA) Art Leadership Resident (Central Works) and the Artistic Associate at Altarena Playhouse.
