The Bay Area's own Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble Pacific Edge Voices joins forces with global a cappella superstar Deke Sharon for Super Groups A Cappella! - a high-energy a cappella performance of hit songs by your favorite groups from across the decades - ABBA, Beach Boys, Beatles, Blondie, BTS, Commodores, Destiny's Child, Devo, Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Pointer Sisters, Police, Queen, Radiohead, Rascal Flatts ... and more.
Pacific Edge Voices is unique among Bay Area vocal ensembles for presenting a set of a cappella jazz and pop concerts every June - and has done so since its founding in 1980.
San Francisco native Deke Sharon emcees the show. Deke has been dubbed "the father of contemporary a cappella" for his wide-ranging work as a performer, arranger, music producer, author and coach and is credited by many as being responsible for the current sound of modern a cappella. He was arranger and vocal director for all three "Pitch Perfect" films, as well as vocal producer for five seasons of "The Sing Off" for NBC.
This all-ages show has something for everyone!
Three shows around the Bay: June 6 (SF), June 8 (Berkeley), June 20 (Mill Valley).
