  KQED is partnering with Back Pocket Media to bring you Story Fest, a showcase of the Bay Area's most compelling journalism with the suspense, depth, humor, and unforgettable characters, all brought to life onstage at the Herbst Theatre.

Journalists from diverse Bay Area outlets - including San Francisco Chronicle, Mother Jones, KQED, KALW, SF Standard, Bay City News, Mission Local, and Berkeleyside - will go behind the scenes of their reporting, inviting readers into a world they've only observed from the outside.

Artists and local raconteurs will also share surprising, hysterical, uniquely Californian stories live on stage.
