The Roots of the Guava Tree is a debut contemporary memoir of a young woman struggling with identity, heritage and belonging, as the daughter of a Jewish mother and Christian Palestinian father.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Born in Colombia and shaped by a diverse heritage-a Palestinian father and a Jewish mother-writer Sonia Daccarett brings over 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit communications. She holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master's degree in international and public affairs from Columbia University.
