Thursdays, September 4 to October 9, 10 am to 12 pm
Join us for a six-week Knit-A-Long, featuring the charming Make Myself Flowers vest pattern (available for purchase on Ravelry). Under the guidance of Tish and Christine, you'll learn step-by-step how to create this colorful, garden-inspired piece.
We recommend using Juniper Moon Cotton + Merino, Cascade Yarns Cantata, or Shiny Happy Cotton paired with mohair, though the Ravelry pattern offers additional yarn inspiration. Please note: yarn, needles, and the pattern are not included in the meet-up cost.
For our first session, arrive with a 4? x 4? stockinette swatch (gauge: 15 stitches over 4 inches, or 3.75 stitches per inch) using size 7 needles-or the size needed to meet gauge. This vest incorporates intarsia two-color knitting, making it best suited for intermediate knitters. However, with a few modifications, adventurous advanced beginners are welcome to join.
