Join Marin-based photographer and printmaker Ben Davidson and photo teacher and artist Laurie Reemsnyder for a creative printmaking workshop using botanical material gathered from the garden grounds and Marin's hills and forests.
We start with a 20-minute "foraging" walk around the 11-acre garden then head to the Cottage for a 60 minute printmaking session using the cyanotype (photo) process on sunny days. If the day is overcast, we will gather plant material to create elegant botanical stencil prints.
All participants receive a white wooden frame to showcase their print creation from this fun and informative nature walk and printmaking workshop. Children ages 7-12 are welcome to participate with an adult.
