Somewhere along the way, we started believing that every outdoor experience had to be “Epic.”

The sweeping vistas.
The summit selfies.
The gear lists long enough to outfit an Everest expedition.

And yes, we do those trips too.

But the truth is, you don’t need a mountain range to enjoy being outside.

Sometimes the best moments happen on an easy three mile trail… laughing with people you just met… and realizing you don’t have to prove anything to enjoy the outdoors.

Most people assume Houston doesn’t have hiking.
Until they discover the quiet wooded pockets tucked between neighborhoods… the winding bayou paths… the shaded loops that even longtime locals don’t know about.
